Commitment Announcement: Gracelyn Tipton Heading to Hartwick College!
Big news for the Lady Dukes family! Gracelyn Tipton is officially college-bound, having committed to play softball and continue her education at Hartwick College!
Grace currently competes with our 18U team after a standout run on our 16U team under Coach Tim. We’ll never forget when we first saw Grace at tryouts—she wowed our coaching staff from day one. Although her path brought her to us a bit later down the road, we are so grateful she joined the Lady Dukes family!
On the dirt, Grace’s tenacity and intensity are unmistakable—she plays with a relentless drive every time she steps on the field. But just as impressive as her play is the teammate she is off the bat. Grace is consistently the first player out of the dugout to pick up a teammate, lead by example, and bring unwavering energy to the team.
We look forward to making every moment count during our remaining time with Grace, and we can’t wait to watch her shine at the next level. The good news? She gets to keep repping the blue and white colors as a Hartwick Hawk!

Commitment Announcement: Madison Havener Heading to Saint Anselm College!
We are beyond excited to announce that Madison "Maddie" Havener has officially committed to continue her academic and softball career at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire!
Maddie has been a cornerstone of the Lady Dukes since our inception in the Fall of 2025. From the moment we first met her at tryouts, she has brought an undeniable level of grit, determination, and passion for the game every single time she steps on the field.
What truly sets Maddie apart is how she approaches her craft day in and day out. She treats every practice with the same focus and intensity as game day, always making the absolute most of every single rep. Maddie truly emulates the "practice how you play" mentality.
For younger players in our program looking to learn what it takes to compete at a high level, Maddie is the ultimate example: work hard, take your preparation seriously, and be an exceptional teammate.
Watching her growth has been an absolute privilege for our coaching staff, and we have no doubt she will make an immediate impact on and off the field for the Hawks.

Mindset Moments Video Series Launch
We are excited to launch Mindset Moments, a new video library focused on developing the mental side of softball.
Physical reps are only half the equation—training the brain is just as critical as training the body. Managing players' mental health, overcoming performance anxiety, and building resilience are essential for competing with confidence under pressure.
These short videos offer quick, practical strategies to help athletes reset after mistakes and stay focused. This library will continue to grow, and we hope players, parents, and coaches use these tools regularly to build a stronger mental game.
When you train the mind, you own the moment.
Big Congratulations to Victoria Ventresca!
The CT Lady Dukes family is thrilled to announce that Victoria Ventresca has officially committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Framingham State University!
Reaching the collegiate level is a dream many athletes share, but few fully appreciate the sheer amount of discipline, sacrifice, and relentless effort it takes to get there. Victoria’s journey is a great example of what happens when talent meets work ethic. She has put in the extra reps, embraced every challenge, and constantly pushed herself to elevate her game.
Beyond her performance on the field, Victoria truly embodies everything it means to be a CT Lady Duke. She leads with heart, competes with grit, and brings an infectious, positive energy that lifts up her teammates. She represents our core values with class every time she steps between the lines.
A achievement like this is never a solo effort. We want to extend our deepest congratulations to Victoria’s incredible family, especially her mom and dad. Thank you for the endless miles driven, the early morning wake-ups, the loud cheering from the stands, and the constant support that made this moment possible. This accomplishment belongs to all of you!
