The Lady Dukes CT squads displayed both discipline and explosiveness at the plate during the recent New England’s Finest Fall Showcase. The 16U Showcase lineup hit with authority, producing a .353 on-base percentage and an impressive 1.124 slugging average — translating to an OPS nearly triple that of the typical high school team. Meanwhile, the Select 16U squad demonstrated depth and power, slugging .984 as a team and building consistent offensive momentum. Together, their strong plate approach, led to 9 home runs! Aggressive base-running, and cohesive teamwork made the Lady Dukes a competitive force at this year’s Fall Showcase!

Lady Dukes 16U Shine at Northeast Softball College Showcase
The Lady Dukes 16U Fall Showcase team made a powerful statement at the Northeast Softball College Showcase, finishing the weekend with an impressive 4-1 record!
From the circle to behind the plate, the girls were locked in. Pitchers delivered, combining for over a 60% strike percentage and averaging 60% first-pitch strikes—setting the tone early and often. Catchers were equally sharp, posting a 20% caught stealing rate, keeping opposing runners in check.
Offensively, the Dukes came through in the clutch, batting .415 with runners in scoring position. Timely hits and smart baserunning kept the pressure on throughout the weekend.
This showcase was a testament to the team’s grit, preparation, and chemistry.

COACH MIHALEK VOTED AMONG THE BEST BY NATIONAL FASTPITCH COACHES ASSOCIATION
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eight schools were selected by their peers as the 2025 ATEC/NFCA Spring High School Regional Coaching Staff of the Year honorees, the Association announced on Friday afternoon.
Representing the regions that compete in softball in the spring, Owyhee (Region III), Notre Dame (Region IV), Carrollton (Region V), Saint Thomas Aquinas (Region VI), Doral Academy (Region VII), Kenton Ridge (Region VIII), Marlboro (Region IX) and Avon (Region X) were chosen in a vote of NFCA member coaches in their respective region.
Announcing Partnership with Athletes Go Live!!
The Lady Dukes have partnered with Athletes Go Live (AGL) for the 2025-26 softball season.
AGL offers the most advanced platform to assist our athletes in the recruiting process. AGL will be used to live stream and score all of our games and will compile advanced statistical metrics. All players will have an account that will allow them to send game clips directly to college coaches in its expansive database, create a customized and shareable profile, get notified when a coach views their profile or clips, and be included in leaderboards compiled live by AGL during many big tournaments. There are too many features and benefits to mention.
